I was off at a health security conference in Malaysia, but I am back and unfortunately the great American dumpster fire continues for science and public health. Here’s what I went off about today (besides my incredible new bespoke power suits):
US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. signed an order forcing Angela Perryman to remain imprisoned in Nebraska with no scientific justification whatsoever. I am extremely opposed to the retaliatory imprisonment of 47-year-old women named Angela who object to Bobby Biocontainment violating their constitutional rights
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Accountability Committee (HSGAC) is dragging former NIAID Director Tony Fauci in for a transcribed interview that will be used to manufacture evidence against him
Tulsi Gabbard shared the breaking news that the US invested in foreign biolabs as a means of reducing biological threats on her way out the door, because her job is spreading Russian propaganda
Where did all these new bird flu-infected dairy cows come from? Does anyone even still work at APHIS?
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russell Vought is coming for trillions in federal grants and you need to comment on how this will affect you! Do you like driving on roads? Do you think your kids should have schools to go to? What would happen if your local hospitals all closed? There are lots of things to comment about, but what is important is that you comment about how it affects YOU specifically. These comments will be used in lawsuits that will stop Vought from seizing power (and trillions in taxpayer money) with the stroke of a pen, so go do it here: https://www.regulations.gov/commenton/OMB-2026-0034-0001.
