Amy Acton is running for governor of Ohio under the Democratic Ticket. She was the director of the Ohio Department of Health during Covid and a supporter of Covid mitigation efforts. She was called "Ohio's Dr Fauci." The Fauci hearing was suspiciously timed - I believe - to stir up and undermine Amy Acton's campaign. The fact that Ohio Senator Moreno was especially vocal and nasty points to Ohio as their target. Add Jim Jordan - an Ohio Representative. This was a targeted attack on Amy Acton -among other things. The fact that Fauci repeatedly wrote down what a dope Trump is and then Rand Paul read it out loud is just more proof of how genius Fauci is . That’s some A+ level trolling right there.
I want you to know that this video helped educate several young Americans that simply needed to listen to a relatively basic description of what's really going on. The entire world is witnessing the madness from Capital Hill - primarily in their feeds and thumbnails.
Ironically, IMO the attacks on Fauci demonstrated how poorly this administration is distracting us from their countless real atrocities here and around the world.
Remember that. This mattered. It does matter.

To very best of my knowledge, two members of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs were not present at any time for the Fauci/COVID-19-Origins Hearing (July 29). Sen. Slotkin and Sen. Gallego did NOT show up. Elissa Slotkin (MI) and Ruben Gallego (AZ) are Democrats.
All other Committee members were present for at least portions of the 3-hour event.
Rand Paul is an ophthalmologist, not a lawyer, so his pronouncements that Dr. Fauci wasn't entitled to invoke the 5th Amendment are utter garbage. I probably know a lot more about American law than that bozo does, even though I don't live in the US and am not a lawyer. Senator Paul looks and talks like a r****d.
After listening to this conversation, various journalists are stating that there is now a belief that COVID19 came from a lab leak. It seems, yet again, a win for the anti-science propagandists. The case for natural origin should not be silenced!
