On one bit of good news, the Florida Senate refused in its recent special session to consider the vaccine requirement gutting legislation that Florida governor desantis & his thoroughly incompetent surgeon general Ladapo were pushing hard. Desantis had put it on the agenda for the special session (along with voter redistricting, which sadly did pass) in an effort to pressure legislators on this issue. It appears even his gop supermajority in the senate can read the polls & Senate President Daniel Perez refused to move it forward. A good thing given herd immunity levels in most Florida counties are dangerously low.
