I’ve got a longer piece coming first thing tomorrow but in the meantime, I explain in this video why Vincent Munster and Claude Kwe did not do anything illegal. They did not lie to officials. The case against them exonerates them. I did get one detail wrong, now that I’ve looked at the evidence provided by the FBI agent who investigated him: the samples in question were not generated from cells grown in culture to be used as controls, at least not from what is described in the document I read. However, they are still diagnostic samples and I will explain a lot more about this tomorrow. Get ready to hear some inside baseball on inactivation buffers, Select Agent law, and the fact that Special Agent Robert Holbrook, who does not describe having any relevant scientific expertise or training, is evidently so ignorant of the crime he is investigating that he didn’t realize this affidavit exonerates them.
