Okay, everyone, this was taking a lot of time that I don’t have, but people seem to like this. So I’m going to keep doing it, but change it up in that it requires little more than me just showing up and going off. If everyone hates it, do let me know. I can make cringe middle-aged influencer videos instead!
Here’s what I went off about today:
Kenyan Ebola prison is illegal and violates Americans’ due process and citizenship rights
Kenyan Ebola prison is incredibly dangerous in terms of the risks of ebolavirus transmission because there is no way they can achieve adequate containment
Kenyan Ebola prison risks exposing US military personnel (both armed forces and Public Health Service Commissioned Corps) to massive transmission risk and starting an outbreak in another country with no Bundibugyo virus cases
Kenyan Ebola prison deprives Americans of state-of-the-art facilities and access to care that their tax dollars paid for in favor of incarcerating them in an Ebola death trap in violation of their Constitutional rights
There is no scientific, medical, or legal justification for Kenyan Ebola prison; it is purely political
A Kenyan court ruled that this is also illegal in Kenya (and dangerous to Kenyans)
Let by civil rights attorneys, myself and some other experts have contributed to an open letter to President Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. opposing the plan to detain people in Kenya as part of our Ebola quarantine protocol
