As one of your newly minted hantavirus "experts" ouch. Hantavirus is one I've been aware of but hadn't studied much. Then I was asked to form some opinions and brief a group on it on short notice. At least, so far my conclusions and recommendations have been consistent with what I consider to be knowledgeable responses from others I consider more authoritative and better trained. Oh, how I long for the days when I could trust communication from CDC, and when we had open and more direct communication with WHO. It's been a long time since school.
